As Fashion Week continues around the world, we transition to London's Fashion Week, highlighting the brilliant work done by Christian Bailey. The "English Rose" collection was marked with rose pinks, dusty mauve and lavenders, offering a new take on the pastels in the spring and the prim English style. Bailey stuck with classic silhouettes of coat dresses, wraps and pencil skirts.

After our classes, we ran up to Lincoln Center for the Anya Caliendo and Olksen shows. Anya Caliendo showed a very fun hat collection that we were seriously loving. It's so weird to think that hats used to be such an integral part of dressing that one was considered underdressed without the headgear. For New York winters, hats are about as integral as pants to keep warm so I know I'll be investing in a couple of hats for the season.
Our favorite designer was Olksen, a former orthopedic doctor turned fashion designer. The collection was infused with bright colors that really got us pumped for the Spring. We can't wait until this stuff starts hitting the stores. Saks here we come.

S: Today we got to see three amazing designers: Steven Alan, Badgley Mischka and Vera Wang. I'm already ready to ditch the cold-weather clothes typically reserved for this time of year and fast forward to these amazing styles. A couple of the top things we gathered is that the 70s are forever, black and white is here to stay, royal blue, bright red and orange will be everywhere, sheer is still in and keep the slouchy pants. NYFW is probably one of the top ten places to people watch all year- and we definitely took note of the great fashion choices among our peers. Who knew so much inspiration could reside in one little tent.
